A Typical Hunting Vacation With Us:
Before you can experience the beauty and quality hunting that Dryden has to offer, you must first determine your method of travel. Our guests normally drive the entire way or fly into International Falls, MN, rent a vehicle, and drive the remaining 2 hours to Dryden. Options to fly directly into Dryden are also available. Upon arriving in Dryden we will begin with a meet and greet, review our property maps, go over the bucks that we've been scouting, and get you acquainted with our operations and the accommodations. This also includes a trip to our various properties to review stand and baiting locations.
The very next day will be your first full day of hunting. Normally, we like to be in the stands 45 to 60 minutes before first light so be prepared to be up and at it well before first light. However, we realize that not all are morning folks so we leave this decision for our guests to make. Once into the stands, be ready for action as things begin to lighten. Good, low light optics are always of benefit.
As the day progresses and lunch time approaches, you can decide on lunch in the stand, lunch in town, or head back to camp for a hot meal. Again, we leave this decision up to our guests. If you decide to leave the stand, plan to be back well before sun down. We like to see our guests back on the hunt at least 3 hours before sunset.
Inevitably, the day will come to an end. Hopefully it closes on a truly successful hunt but regardless, you can look forward to a night back at camp with good food and good friends or head to town and enjoy some of Dryden's fine dining and entertainment.
As a new day dawns so does your chances to take one of the many trophy whitetails that inhabit this beautiful Dryden area. So don't be late, the stands are waiting.
